J2EE Developer Borland Starteam Experience (2691)6 Months Contract in Plano, TX 75024Local candidates and permanent residents only eligible for this roleRate :- $45/Hr On W2Job Description :-Experienced JAVA/J2EE developer with specialized knowledge in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of SCM (Software Configuration Management), particularly automated build environments. 1) Analyze the current Version Control, Code Repository and the environments and come up with a solution that will best support Code and Configuration Management with Automated Build & Deployment to the various environments.2) Design and develop scripts and tools to build and compile code of varying complexity using automated and manual efforts. Need to ensure complete and accurate code compilation for release into various critical environments.3) Create and maintain build, deployment and rollback scripts/tools.4) Administer and maintain version control, version control software and code repository.5) Identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems with the build process.6) Provide support for application and environment configuration issues.7) Coordinate with support teams to support and resolve build issues. Requirements :-Need to have good experience with Borland StarTeam and its APIs, Ant scripts, Custom Ant Tasks, Build Automation and deployment of applications in WebLogic/Unix based environments.Need to have 3-5 years of technical experience including full project lifecycle on 2 or more large J2EE projects.Experience with JSR Portlet Development & Administration (Vignette) and Integration Tools like Apache Continuum, Rational Build Forge, Cruise Control is highly desirable.Qualifying Questions :-1.
