Summary

On behalf of a Florida firm, Access Staffing is conducting a search for Systems Programmers/Software Engineers with a background in Windows system level programming to develop commercial software products. These are direct/permanent positions located in Vero Beach, Florida, one of Florida's premier beach and resort areas, with a successful developer of software products for Windows and Macintosh environments. US citizens and Green Card Holders and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor H1B candidates at this time. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. The Software Engineers will work on the next generation of industry leading corporate and consumer products. This is system level/backend and middleware development requiring prior programming experience at the Windows operating system level. You will be responsible for working independently or with a small team of engineers in developing new features and maintaining existing software programs designed using C and C++. Software engineers are expected to work with limited supervision. This company will interest you if you are creative and have an eye for innovation, and can develop ideas that can provide ways to improve the product and drive sales.Experience Requirements:" 3+ years writing system level software, including development of Windows kernel extensions, OS hooking routines, API, library calls, and drivers " 8+ years programming experience " 5+ years programming in C/C++ " Experience in Windows programming technologies such as Win32, WMI, COM, Visual Studio. " Experience with multi-threaded design " Experience with network programming (WinSock) " Experience with commercial software products development (shrink wrap) is a big plus " Excellent written and verbal communication skills" BS in Computer Science or similar preferred
