We are looking for Sr. System Administrators with 80% Windows based background and 20% Linux background to support the development of a data backup and restore system. The work is being performed for NOAA's Office of Satellite Operations in Suitland, Maryland.

The requirements for the job are as follows:

1. Active Security Clearance at least Secret level to start.
2. Must have Strong ALTIRIS background.
3. CISSP certification would be nice but not deal breaker.

Task Description:
Develop, install and test a data backup and restore system in support of the NOAA Weather Satellite Program while still maintaining a safe and secure system as well.

Job requires a background with strong working knowledge of Windows/Linux Systems administration as well as working knowledge of ALTIRIS security within the system which is a windows based program.

Job requires working knowledge of HP DataProtector or Veritas data backup applications software. Knowledge of Storage Area Network (SANs) based solution and working knowledge of Active Directory is required. After the data backup and restore system is developed and test it will be deployed in an operational environment. The system the backup and restore solution is being deployed on is a Windows/Linux based solution.
