Responsible for the overall coordination and administration of all clinical and social work services for the Residential Programs;
Encourages and ensures professional development and staff retention by providing and/or arranging for clinical training and technical support to program staff;
Responsible for ensuring a safe and therapeutic milieu for pregnant and parenting young women, including the integration of therapeutic models and services, and youth development practice;
Supervise all social work and clinical staff members as well as MSW and other social work/clinical interns;
Provide individual, family and group counseling when necessary;
Responsible for ensuring Improved Outcomes for youth within the family-to-family philosophy;
Identify trends and develop programming to address the changing needs of pregnant and parenting teens;
Ensure that all social work services reflect the values and mission of Inwood House and is in compliance with governmental and professional standards;
Ensure program provides optimal social work services to pregnant teens and their families with sensitivity to cultural and ethnic diversity using strengths-based, youth development concepts;
Coordinates and co-leads program meetings including treatment team meetings; staff meetings; emergency planning meetings and other relevant meetings.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with other IH programs and support departments (Development, Finance, Human Resources, Research/QI and QA);
Participate in relevant internal and external work groups, trainings, committees and task forces;
Responsible for submitting written monthly reports and official correspondence from the agency
