| Summary |
|
The programs at Bridge Lake Point Waunona (BLW) Neighborhood Center empower community residents by developing client-driven services and programs that respond to the changing needs of the professional/educational need, diversity, and overall strength of the community. Programming for children and youth include a bilingual preschool program, Los Ninos Primero, an Elementary After School Program (Grades 1 - 6), a Girl Neighborhood Power Program (Grades 1 - 8), and a Teen Program (Grades 6 - 8).
Bridge Lake Point Waunona Neighborhood Center is seeking an energetic leader who works well with people to become the Youth Programs Coordinator. The Youth Programs Coordinator will work directly under the Youth Programs Director to coordinate and execute youth program goals and outcomes.

| Responsibilities |
|
|
 |
- Work with the Youth Programs Director to coordinate and facilitate all youth programs
- Help manage the Elementary After - School Program including the Summer Camp
- Develop the middle school Teen Program including weekly direct service hours
- Be a member of the center’s management team in promoting center programs and events, creating new center initiates and focusing on the future vision for the center
- Maintain program expectations, procedures, and demonstrate leadership in all areas of the position
- Build relationships with parents/guardians of program participants
- Maintain daily and written records, monitor programs, and complete program reports
- Research and write grants for program funding |

| Required Skills |
|
|
|
- 2+ years experience working with school age children, specifically middle school children
- Strong management skills
- Strong ability to display leadership
- Bilingual, Spanish Speaking is desired
- Degree or Certification in related field is strongly desired |
