This large boutique firm has offices in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Their practice is broad-ranging, from all aspects of patent, trademark, and copyright law, to advice on entertainment law, security interests in intellectual property, and related aspects of commercial law and other legal areas dealing with technology. We’ve been told that they have a test that everyone must take before interviewing, and it’s quite difficult.

Responsibilities
The firm’s clients range from individual inventors and start-up companies to some of the world's largest multinational corporations. While there are some negative comments about the hours required, the hours seem commensurate with the salary, firm quality and work required.
Required Skills
Excellent spelling, grammar, Proofreading, telephone communication and organizational skills are a must. Should be able to produce correspondence, reports, memoranda from dictation, and draft handwritten or oral instructions.

Trademark Paralegal The candidate must have 3+ years of experience. Should have experience with foreign trademark renewals with knowledge of local laws and requirements. Must be able to communicate with clients and local counsels regarding issues that may arise during the prosecution, such as evidence of use requirements, reclassifications. Should be able to conduct trademark status reports using USPTO database and maintain trademark files. Experience using Dictaphone a plus.
