Summary
Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Establish and maintain safe classroom environment by implementing behavior management techniques together with the Teacher. Assist with the planning of the curriculum and, in consultation with the Teacher, implement specific parts of the curriculum. Substitute teach in the classroom in the absence of the Teacher. Assist the Teacher in writing and maintaining required records. Participate in case management process for assigned students.

Assure that administrative and/or department directives are enforced. Perform other duties, as requested. Demonstrate familiarity with cultural patterns existing within a community which may affect the behavior of children.
Required Skills
Able to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills Able to operate agency vehicles, i.e., valid Maryland Driver s License. Able to work cooperatively with others.
