Summary
Direct Support Professionals are responsible for supporting and coordinating activities of the individuals living in homes operated by VOAC and individuals living independently or with a family member or other person who provides primary care; teaching independent living skill to the individuals; facilitating community integration; and contributing to or maintaining the individual’s safety and well being in accordance with the Scope of Work and with Volunteers of America Chesapeake’s policies and procedures.
