Summary
One of the most significant challenges facing the Federal Government today is to understand how an agency’s portfolio of Information Technology projects is selected, prioritized and approved. ArdentMC is supporting the processes and mechanisms to help Federal Agencies select and prioritize projects to deliver the highest value and also ensure that there is balance in the mix of projects to meet mission goals per budget constraints. Therefore, it is essential that priorities be based on both individual project benefits and the overall impact of the project portfolio. To meet this challenge, ArdentMC is building its Project Portfolio Management practice area to include Subject matter experts and technical consultants to work with various industry tools such as Oracle – Primavera Prosight, Computer Associates – Clarity system tools that are in use to streamline information used for critical decision-making. Ardent is seeking experienced consultants with the CPIC process, IT spending plans, shaping acquisition strategy, and planning for investments to evolve an Enterprise’s Architecture. Skills must have: Prosight implementation experience Skills nice to have: Database and .Net programming Responsibilities: Implementation of Prosight technologies for Federal Agencies embarking in Portfolio Management, utilizing Prosight Tools and Technologies.
  • Prosight Tools and Technologies:
  • Development of data calls and report
  • Creation of workflows, portfolio views, and investor maps
  • CPIC experience and implementation for OMB 300 and 53
  • Development of analytical and governance Working closely with the Project Manager to assess customer environment, recommend technical strategy for implementation for optimal results to customer optimizing. Qualifications:
  • Possess five to six years experience with Prosight technologies
  • Experience training new users on Prosight Product and utilities
  • Background in working with other Project Management tools to integrate with Prosight
  • Experience with Oracle-based database technologies 9i, 10g, 11g, multi-tier and web-centric applications, and government systems implementations. Microsoft (MS)SQL Server 2000 and 20005
  • The successful candidate must possess superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and a positive phone presence.
  • Experience working on Federal Government Contracts preferred
