Summary

Provide Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice (DOJ), Geospatial Management Office (GMO) customers with innovative, enterprise class GIS solutions leveraging Web 2.0 architectures. The Geospatial Information Infrastructure is a services based solution to support the GIS needs of the Departments internal (DHS/ DOJ Components) and external (State/ Local) customers. The successful candidate will have a background in web based GIS application development using a variety of COTS/ GOTS based products. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess innovative thoughts in the application of GIS to solve enterprise wide situational awareness, geospatial analytics and information sharing challenges.

Responsibilities

Skills must have: ArcGIS 9.3, Java, JavaScript, Flex, REST Web Services. Skills nice to have: OGC Compliant Web Services, Advanced Analytical Modeling, Agile development experience, Single sign on, Geo-processing task development

Required Skills

The successful candidate will work within a team environment and under the Agile rapid development methodology to design, coding and implement GIS and GIS enabling capabilities in support of the DHS/ DOJ GII. Development activities and responsibilities include: • AJAX-based client applications
